Is Saif Ali Khan starting his production house? There have been various reports on this front, one of them stating that his first project will be called AGENT VINOD and would be directed by Sriram Raghavan. "We are still working on an idea,” Sriram clarifies, "It's in the nascent stages right now.”

Is AGENT VINOD a remake of the successful Mahendra Sandhu starrer of the 1970s? "Frankly, that's one of the titles we are considering for our film. Both Saif and I are in love with it [the title]. It's a realistic, action film. It's the kind of cinema that worked beautifully in the 1970s. However, the content is not remotely similar to the Mahendra Sandhu starrer,” Sriram clarifies.

When is Saif planning to start the film? "Look, we're still discussing various scripts. We haven't locked anything yet. It's going to take time,” he adds.

Sriram is currently involved with the post-production work of Johny Gaddar and has two more films lined up next, besides Saif's home-production -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY and Rohan Sippy's Akshay Kumar starrer. Incidentally, there's talk that Aishwarya Rai has opted out of HAPPY BIRTHDAY [co-starring John Abraham]. "I am unaware of this development. Gaurang Doshi [the producer] would be the right person to shed light on it,” he says.
