I’ve dreamed of a perfect day
Where Jesus and I pray
Where god saves me from everything
Where I can sit back and not be afraid
Where I know I won’t fall
A place that’s far from it all
And a place that never makes me sad
People say that there’s no such place
But I believe there is one
Right between space
And this place we call earth
With streets of gold
And all hearts pure
In this place there is no pain to endure
Just the sound of its name
Brings all the glory and fame
Everyone smiling
With eternal life
No one crying
Or dealing with strife
A place where those who believe will
-see
And one day be
The place I dreamed of when I was
-Seven
It’s the everlasting
But most people just call it heaven
