Shrimp (in shells), cleaned

All-purpose flour

Hot cooked rice
Method:
Heat margarine in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat.
Cook curry powder, onion and garlic in margarine 2 minutes.
Stir in flour, sugar, ginger, mustard, pepper, tomato, apple and ham.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasional Stir in coconut and chicken broth.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Rub mixture through sieve.
Return liquid to saucepan.
Heat to boiling; add shrimp.
Heat again to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, just until shrimp are done.
Serve with rice.
